Engine building paste

  1. I used to use Graphogen on Honda cams and cranks.
    What do you VW engine builders use?

    Yes, smear all your moving parts with a good dollop of that to help it run in quickly. :)

  12. I use torco engine assembly lube :)

    It just needs to have good cling while you build oil pressure and the first few seconds of engine running!! :)
     
  13. Fill the oil pump with assembly lube aswell
    It helps raise the oil pressure quickly

    I once built a ford engine but forgot to fill it with oil
    It ran on the assembly lube for about ten mins before it started making funny noises
