In the line up sat and sun, moving to a camping field adjacent to the show at the end of the day and coming back into the line up on the sat/sun morning

Hi all
I have taken over the organising of the late bay line up at this show. I haven't been before so I don't know if it is a good show or not. Having checked the website however it looks a lovely location next to the lake at Ealsnor Castle, which is very close to Ledbury so quite central to a few of us! Live music and quite a few stalls!
The other good news is that I have managed to procure two free tickets per van, 16 and under go free anyway and dogs are welcome! The free tickets include camping for the whole weekend. The show is 8th to 10th of AUGUST!
We can have up to 20 vans!!! Yes 20 vans so even if the show wasn't that great it would still be a great weekend if we got a good crowd there!

@philntfc is organising the convoy but i believe we are trying to meet at the Shell Garge in Kislingbury at 1.30pm

 

I won't be able to meet up then, earliest I will be leaving Lincoln is 3:30pm. But google says it is 2hrs 40 from there do hope to be there between 6-7 I reckon.

 

I'll try for that then.

 

The garage is on the A45(it's possibly now marked on maps/satnav as A4500 nowadays) to the west of Northampton about a mile from jct 16 of M1. Hope you can make it.

Got This from Marcus today! I am not interested it if anybody else wants to sail with it!!

As you may or may not know, we are having a soapbox challenge as part of the Camper&Bus Show entertainment. We would naturally like to make this as much of a spectacle as possible, so the more entries the better. Would you or any of your members be interested in competing? Whether the entry took 3 minutes or 3 months to build, there isn’t such a thing as ‘too many’ entries!

We also have a limited number of karts available to be used by clubs if they wish to enter but do not have a kart. This is FREE to do, subject to availability, if you would like to loan a kart you need to book now to avoid disappointment.

Hiya Its a Shell petrol station to the west of Northampton. I see you are in Lincs so I would guess if you came down the M1 exit at jct16 and head for Northampton. After about 2 miles of dual carriageway you come to a roundabout and you simply swing back round on yourself and its straight in front of you . If you come down via Stamford-Corby-Kettering follow the ring road around Northampton and head out towards jct16 and you will come to it. Just be careful if you are following signs for the M1 around Northampton as there is 3 junctions to it within about 5 miles.

OK cool. I can see a shell in kislingbury but not one on the main a45, there is a red lion truck stop and a total along there though. Just wanting to make sure where i am going if we can make it down.

 

Ok its the total one by the roundabout - it got refurbed into a Shell about a year ago. As I said on another post I think the road is called the A4500 now if you are using satnav/new map. Us locals still call it the A45

 

Right got it, a plan is being hatched to get me the wife and my kids to come from 3 different parts if the country to arrive in time for the convoy!!
