Ok guys 'n gals, after a long and rather scary consultation with The Dark Lord himself ( I had to sacrifice a virgin, along with a young goat and some yorkshire chorizo ) he has with good grace and favour doth granted the mortals wish for electrical hook ups for those dwelling in houses on wheels. However, to obtain this I have had to agree that thoust shall not use said hook ups to experiment with the bringing to life of Frankenstein type creatures, or for the attraction of northern virgins with gaudy displays of lights to bewitch and dazzle them. >

And as a quick one Steve what kindof clothing do we need to bring for the caving? Is it overall type of clothing and boots or trainers and trackys?

Do we need light/helmets or can we borrow them for the day?

I havnt done this since Scouts and i carnt tell you how excited I am about it! Its not very often the chance comes along so Carnt blooming wait!!!

So let's talk food...

We will do food for the Friday night to save the travellers a job of cooking when they arrive. Does eye of newt and wing of bat suit everyone or do we have any vegetarians? I'll do a deadly nightshade pie for them. Pints of hemlock all round (i.e gin for the wonderful yorkshirecamper who I owe big time for getting me a new job)!

 

We can help with food on fri too as for once we can be there early!

 

I'm going to make it all in advance but help warming it through will be very much appreciated! Hopefully the wing of bat won't go tough!!!

 

There is one vegetarian in our party ( not saying who in case they become the victim of sacrificial rituals).

I'll bring something vegetarian in a tin, so no - one has to cook for the freaks.

 

we'll be doing veggie if the 'freak' wants to come and join us freaks! Spicy ok, or does it need to be mild?

 

Toilets on site! - spicy is good for "that person" thanks

Hmm, have just been experimenting with Maggot Soup but wasn't happy with the way it turned out. Think we'll give Slime Soup a go next. Poor crazycaver is my guineapig!!!

Bri - did Steve reply to you about the caving stuff? Just wear warm understuff - you'll be getting all the other kit (undersuit, oversuit, helmet etc etc) from elsewhere. If you have wellies though bring those. I'll get him to PM the caving types with more info - like the weather forecast!!!

Yup we are in!!!! and Shell be in for a walk with you all too she just doesnt have a profile so canrt vote!!

Steve didnt mention what to wear so I was gonna box clever but I think you have covered it! My only though is my boots are waterproof to the calf so if that will suffice over wellies would prefer that but I do have wellies if he thinks its better will go on his advice! !!

We wll be hooking up with yorkshirecampers (paley) on the way so even if they back out we will drag them with the pig!! ;D ;D so count them in!!

 

And now I look back at the post!! weather forcast?? Shouldnt we be underground???
