door pull leather handles

    any ideas on a better handle as i want to cover the cut on the trim around the handle

    Ken there are varying designs of door handles (interior) as with everything - a picture paints a thousand words.

  8. You could try the Westie-style door pulls that were a VW option. They're bigger, arm-rest type things that screw into the door. Should be able to get some second hand. Got them on mine and they're right lovely.

    snotty they would do the job if screws are in same place

    They are for a morris 1000 but i bet they would modify them for you !

    poptop i cant post pics still but i have only small gaps around where i cut material for handle but might be able to make a cover plate for them. i will get to post a pic soon

    to post pics the quick way go into the media tab ( up there at the top somewhere ^ ) click on --general then after the pictures appear click on - add pic to this album - above the pictures

    it will take you into your computers picture gallery , double click on the picture you want .

    Then back in the upload area click submit , your picture will magically upload , you then copy and paste the bbc code below your picture into the post you are writing .

    around the cut out for handle is a gap unless i can make or get some nice chrome washers or a plate behind them as i do like the handles.when i got the door cards those holes were not cut out and i think i should of just slit them not cut out as i did :-[
