Needles to say the youngest had a right monk on as he only got a small one

 

Been sitting here all day today not even had a sniff at birds green ongar stay the night you never know your luck still peeing down

 

Ive been to the post office today and bought my rod licence so hopfully ill soon be posting some pics in here

 

I hope so para I have done another two days and one night still none yet weather is real stormy here just today left then go home in a bad mood

 

im off to birds green in ongar in morning at 6 am hope i dont blank again wish me luck

Ive been a few times of late but no big weights to shout about
Im amazed at how much tackle people think they need nowadays though

 

let you know when i get home sunday evening but i have heard they are spawning but might catch through the night

just got home snapped up in the night by a large catfish and blanked again 2 days

 

I sold all my gear to go away about 15 years ago would love to get back to the bank nothing more relaxing,my biggest was 19 lb mirror but these days I understand that's a tiddler

 

still better than what i have had the last three times

 

Had a walk round Milton pools yesterday, the carp a heavily into spawning at the moment so ill give it a bit longer before getting the rods out.

 

only got a picture of the wife fishing but i dont suppose youre interested. That was a great day fishing at skegness.

Sad innit ?so obviously no Health and Safety at all, or , did her father not! say >>>"your not going out like that, are you ?"( wot will the neighbours think)

 

wreck fishing off beachy head for conger few miles out , pout bait n bang , they give you a good tug

 

I remembered a fishing post on here and thought I'd share a recent catch or 2. I just noticed your earlier post @kenregency, these were taken at Birds Green! Only the second time I have been. Had any luck lately?

I might go tomorrow night if I am on good behavior . Can you recommend any other good carp fisheries in Essex/Hertfordshire area that are easy to reach from London @kenregency? I would love to find somewhere with good fish that will allow you to park the bus near the bank to combine the best of both worlds. It seems that good fisheries wont allow 'camping' and camp sites wit lakes usually contain tiddlers!
