Ah. Linear. Yeah I know it. Never actually fished there but heard its good. If I remember right there was a guy stabbed there by tackle thieves a year or so ago.

When I do get a chance to dangle me bait, it's normaly Milton pools just off the M40 or Nell bridge farm near Banbury.

Not been yet this year, the water board has declared our fishery's dam unsafe and we can't stock this seaon. Have a mile or so of the Wharfe at Otley but its either been flooded or crammed with the rest of the club. Looks like we ll be getting another fishery going in the same valley. That's on the fly that lot
Go beach fishing usualy from Bridlington to Redcar for cod on a night in winter and lure fish for wrasse and bass in summer. Amazing scenery, only been doing it a few years and didn't realise till I did that the Yorkshire coast was so dramatic. For forty years I d only been to places like Scarborough or Whitby. Going to give Bridlington to Spurn Head a go this summer for Starry Hounds. Caught one off Chesil Beach last summer, beautiful fish, imagine a light silvery grey dogfish with rows of white stars.
