I dont have the seal and have draughts. On mine the closing mechanism is worn. The window slats do close completely as you drop the lever but open again slightly when the closing lever is right down. I think I will be looking at the bit of metal that links the lever to the bar that moves the slats when it isnt so cold.
I used some foam draught excluder, it was a bit fiddly and doesn't look great either. There was evidence of previous seals on there, no idea if Devon put them on not. for the best look some of that clear plastic might be best, I think you'd only want a U shaped profile

Anyone know where to get replacement felt inserts (4 run vertically). Think this will help me with floppy window syndrome (and help with drafts)?
