Deluxe Trim (differences)

  1. Hi all
Just a question re: Deluxe Trim - most have the trim on the bodyline bulge all round, but you do see it on panels in line with the handles just on the sides. Is the former the US version and the later for the African market? Or is there another difference?
Excuse my ignorance if the answer is simple!!!
    Cheers

Strangely enough an considering they like a but of deluxe bling the Stateside microbus deluxe's were not fitted with the belt line trim inline with the door handles. The swageline chrome trim was fitted to early bays and early late bays up to 74 (I think) it was on the m code plate in the 700 number range making it an S code meaning it was something special.

  4. Cheers guys - just interested as I've seen a few in my seach for the right bus and realise now the one with the trim at the handle line was an Aus bus.
    Thanks B
