    Perpetual motion at it's best.
Only that you're the one doing it.
Be a treat to see the the bug finished won't it?
    Superb achievement so far.

  3. Had a couple of hours on the other side of the rear clip as it's a right mess but made a few bits to fill the holes and welded em up allso under this side cross member all sealed up allso and some of the heater channel closing plate welded up !!
Need to finish heater channel end and drop it back down so I can position the rear chasis mound and weld it in then I can finish the clip [IMG][IMG]

  5. Thats one way to stay warm.
Always fun those few seconds when you're thinking 'wheres that flickering coming from' before 'Oh poo, its me'.

Teach a man to make a fire and he'll be warm for a day.
Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. :p

I bought one of those cheap leather welders aprons off ebay. Works great when you're welding on the underside of stuff plus also useful to stop grinding sparks from melting your clothes. Think it was about £7.

Not sure how I got by without one! Perfect for dressing plug welds after grinding most of it down with the air grinder.

  16. Fitting the big bits is always more satisfying that mucking about for hours repairing a patch that no-one is ever going to notice.
