Daisy 1973 full resto "5 years on"

    Looks like one of them could be an end plug for the front gearshift rod. #22 in the diagram?

    Not much do report today just built up engine hatch and the driver side slider track cover as it's my pool night out of the carling but gonna book mot for next Wednesday all being well [​IMG]

    Yes I leave at 7:30 am and get back around 5 ish then work on bus engine in tomoz

    Don’t know if it’s too late, but it’s worth painting the cut edge of the mats with PVA to stop them fraying around the pedals and such like.... looking good tho! :)

    Long wet damp night just come in got tank in all new breathers ect then fire wall in and engine in all wires up now just need to replace the floats (had an issue late last year floats sinking ) and over fueling ! It now lives got lights ect "so happy " just gotta run all new fuel lines from tank tidy up wiring and she should be running this weekend and hope to get few doors and windows in tomoz [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]

    Chin-chin , bin on it for yonks - mi favourite tipple .
    Great for smuggling into festivals as a bottle of water . Pre-mix 60/40 , lemon in one pocket and a lime in t`other :thumbsup:

    Bought a beetle (having never welded ect and just had a go with a lot of hep from @davidoft as a teacher) then just cracked on with it im no professional at all just keen to have a go !!
