I did engine and box out and back in 9 hours so I don't see why we couldn't do it.

Apart from the crap W and the fact it's in a field.

Ill get this beetle sorted this week's and then do my engine next week.

I'm on pink gin now and @mrsbusmonkey won't be there il hammer the gin gonna make gin display next week

Another few hours tonight after work got the other cab door built up from bare and sliding door built up had a lil issue with the mech (see pics below ) but got the door on and both lined up , also got boot seal and engine hatch seal in place !! It's so nice not pushing it out now
Day off in Lou tomoz so hope to get her mot ready tomoz for mot 9am Thursday morning!!


Pin missing must of fell out (anyone has one be grateful)
Happy with all shut lines so far

How much ground clearance do you loose with that exhaust?
It looks like its only a couple of inches off the floor.

Long bloody day just got in managed to smash out the complete outside and new tyres and new front brake hoses as split ! All trim and sliding door window rear bash and bumper ect ect to much to list but on the test drive to fill her up no 3rd or 4th there seems to be that much ruddy play in the front "new" busg on gear selector the actual stick is hitting the cab floor p#####d off that this has yet again cheap crap parts again stopped play took a lot of *******ing about trying to move the shifter over ect but just hits it but this aside I'm happy with the way she drives engine seems ok and drives good like before but can't really tell mot is 9am then tomoz I need gears !!!
Little girl was in on The action today knows the shocks and tyres and brake hoses allso bled the brakes with me .... love her

You don't need gears to pass the Mot.

You'll just have to drive to the test in 2nd.

Yeah I know bud I'll get (it's last mot) and then sort gear out tomoz and as I type this mrs daisy is cleaning interior
It will pass Iv been over my check list and that's how I found the hoses
