  1. Supposed to be a vast improvement over the hex bar set up ...
Think i`ve got one knocking about if you`re looking ?

    :hattip:

  2. You'll possibly have to swap the carbs from side to side, but there is no reason why it won't work!! :)

  3. btw, ^^ that's if you're looking at doing it on a type 4

  4. Its on a type 1 Paul. The Empi one seems to go out of sync.

  6. Hex bar linkages are a bit of a pain at the best of times!!

  7. I hope I am correct in assuming it can be fitted with the engine in situ. looks like I may have to take the dizzy out.

    Yes.
No need to remove distributor, easy to fit.
If I remember you'll have to swap the operating levers on your carbs from one carb to the other to make them push in the right direction.
Superior to the cheapy empi hex linkages but still slightly fiddly to balance

  9. Cheers Zed, The Empi variable system has to go.

    Agreed I hated mine.

  11. Bell crank linkage definitely the way to go, easy to fit, no need to remove anything really.

  12. I've got csp bell crank linkages but they are on a type 4 with twin dell 40's
    Would still recommend them.
