That is Exactly what i have in mind for mine! Uncanny.
Especially the double in the roof, as there's only two of us now it means that we wouldn't have to faf with the 'Tetris cushions/seatbacks'
downstairs.

It’s all MDF with a veneer stuck on after the units were made. I believe it all came from the Local Arnold Lavers yard. The hinges were from an online iron mongers I believe.

In respect of the roof I reinforced the metal bar by welding some tabs on it and used extra bolts to support the ash runners that support the 3 sections that fill in the area that used to be open.

My van is in the paint shop at the moment and I am really looking forward to the re-assembly having done the welding and prep myself.

What you have done there is brilliant, I can't wait to do mine.
