This is what I use, it's worked fine so far with waxoyl, theres a flexible probe with small holes in the end to spray 360 degrees.
For years I have used waxoyl with a siphon cavity wax gun This is my old one It would block up in cooler weather and also would never fully empty the can It gave a reasonable wax mist in hot weather but most of the time would cough and splutter blobs of wax When I used it with dynax it didn’t clog up as much It gave a slightly better mist and still never emptied the can Then I borrowed a pressure pot cavity wax gun It was so much better it rarely clogged up The mist was much more better and it left less wax behind I was so impressed I bought one The siphon type uses air pressure Blowing over the top of the tube to suck up the wax The pressure pot type pressurised the pot forcing the wax up the tube It’s a lot more efficient in operation
The one I have is a syphon one, I put the tin of waxoyl in a bucket of hot water before use, messy job whatever way you look at it
The key is only to apply wax componds when the bus is warm enough for it to soak in before it freezes. My Waxoyl went in very well at 25 degreec C last August. In the winter outdoors forget it.
Just noticed in a Lidl's leaflet that underseal type compressed air guns are due in 18th Feb, at least they are in Southend, £9.99 I think, but I'm in the pub now Keep em peeled!
I can heartedly recommend Dinitrol ML. I used it on my roof cavities and a few days later I noticed a black line under the gutters where it had seeped through between the layers of metal. You can also get it in aerosols with a probe with a diffuser on the end to shove inside places
I Saw that all Lidl's UK and Ireland on Sunday 18th , could be worth a go for a tenner if you have a compressor, I'd say its suction type by the design of the lid.
