Im after a light creeping type rust preventer to spray down around the inner roof skin and doors before I panel the inside, I also need to do the sills, ant suggestions, I have checked around the web without much luck.
Anyone tried this Krown product https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Krown-T4...321170&hash=item2a9e338d51:g:dPsAAOSwpLNX9lm9
Dynax s 50 creeps better than anything I’ve used before You could thin it even more with white spirit if desired
My parents used to go abroad that week every year "for the good weather" which I always found ironic, the moment they set foot in blighty it started spitting!
How much Dynax would be reasonable for a Type 2, just for the cavities? and does anyone know where the instructions for spraying the cavities is? I've seen it here in the past but can't find it now. Thanks
I reckon five of the big aerosols should do all your cavities. Stick the nylon wand in, press the button, and revolve the can/wand so the spray head (4 x 90º nozzles) covers everything.
It looks like you can buy it in 5 ltr bulk jerry cans and save a few bob but not sure how you'd apply it. Any ideas @snotty? https://www.bilthamber.com/corrosion-protection-and-rust-treatments/dynax-ub
For the best results use a pressure pot cavity wax gun it creates a mist the aerosol cans just can’t match I’ll stick a pic up in a bit I’ve this to go in my bus and daily drive when the weather warms up
This shows how well it creeps When I did my deformation panel There was a tiny pin prick sized hole you couldn’t even see The dynax found its way to and out of it though
I have the spray equipment, but I've used Waxoyl in the past, OK outside but I suspect it doesn't cover that well inside. I found a supplier for Bilt Hamber in Ireland now so I'm going to give this a go.
I have a cheap spray gun and a compressor but only a paraffin nozzle. Thinking of adapting it but before I do, what do you use? Can I buy a proper nozzle to fit a spray gun?
