Proof I made it through the night, I borrowed a generator and put about 4hrs 8A charge in. @pkrboo & @Bertiebot I need a shopping list please. I'm more interested in quality and value for money over cheapness and am happier to go a little OTT than find I should have gone further. Here is a link to my original thread which will give you an idea. I have since added a second panel to get to 200w and needed a higher rated MPPT as a result. Basically the same set up though. I wired the two panels in parallel, used higher rated cable, new MPPT in the same place and works great. http://thelatebay.com/index.php?threads/100w-solar-panel-installed-really-pleased-with-it.61729/
This is the solar controller I have fitted (you need the 20a version for 200w of panels) https://www.amazon.co.uk/EPEver-Tra...97166179&sr=8-1-fkmr0&keywords=epever mppt 20 I have a remote display fitted so I can see the way the battery is charging but you don't need one really its just that you end up being a solar panel charging geek and its satisfying waking up and realising your batteries are already being charged from the sun. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Y-SOLAR-Tr...r=8-6&keywords=epever mt50#reviewBucketHeader I used two of these panels to get my 200 watts. I have a rear hinge Westy as you will see from the thread. Deciding where to put the controller and how to route the cables is worth some thought. The layout I did works nicely but if your bus has a different roof then you will need to do a bit of planning. https://www.photonicuniverse.com/en...lls-for-motorhome-caravan-camper-rv-boat.html You then need the cables etc. You can even get full kits. This one looks pricey but I reckon is good. The panel is the expensive bit as the controller is the same as I listed above https://www.amazon.co.uk/semi-flexi...r=8-34&keywords=photonic universe solar panel
