On the news, a geezer spent 8 years banged up for a murder he did not commit and gets hee haw compensation and petrol up 4 pence a litre>" the lunatics....."
The bloke your on about was cleared on a very minor technicality They still think its him, the judge today said any other jury given the same evidence would still probbably convict him, so its a good call innit him not getting compensation
as i recall he was convicted of a small technicality, specifically, a grain of gunpowder, one grain that could have got there by ,as said in court> cross contamination, further the guy was medically classed as sub intelligent, but the further investigation into murder decided the murder was carried out by a professional paid "hit man">the bullets used had been altered for that "hit"the guy (mr george) changed his name to that of a rock star>always a sure sign of a prof. murderer(they do that to fool the cops into thinking they are too stupid to alter bullets/plan "hits, apparently , it usually works!)cops under pressure to "get a result?" deffo not!!! take mr Bulsarra to the cells.
yeah sgree woody they got him off on a technicality, they reckon in a few years they'll have him when the technology can prove it better? as for petrol up 4p it's crap innit
I'm with Steve - he was fitted up, served 8 years and no compensation (again on a technicality). The guy must hate technicalities! The convicted geezer was so daft he'd have no reason to shoot the Dando one. It's PLAIN that some big (in his own mind) knob who got sent down due to the prog extracted revenge on her. This is most unlikely to be the learning difficulty chap.
they did have a witness that id him at the time as well The judge said people can not have compensation unless they can prove they are innocent. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21195269
Ah ok. So hee haw means nothing. So steves first post tells of the injustice of an innocent man being locked for 8 years, then being released with no compo. And his second post says he's a pro killer. Or have I got hold of wrong end of the stick?
You can't under estimate the importance of the minor technicality. It was just one small spec of blood that placed one of the thugs at the scene of Steven Lawrence.
But the fact is Woody they didn't. They just couldn't get them on anything. How many times did take them to court?? How long did it go on?? And then that drop of blood.
I have to admit I haven't studied this case. BUT the pressure was on to find a culpret. When all the cops can turn up is someone local with learning difficulties I'm afraid it just doesn't cut the mustard for me no matter what other "evidence" they trot out.
