  1. Bit quiet on here, thought there would have been a raft of comments from our low pollution producing vehicle owners.
Saw Greta rallying her troops with a rousing blah blah blah chant then refusing to answer any questions before being driven away in a diesel powered transit.
Hope it didn't block the signal of her latest I phone

  2. Don't expect it to make any sense.

Best we can hope for is that Boris has a few pints and gives Macron a Glaswegian handshake. I'd pay to watch that

  8. Too late. Modern environmentalism ceased to be interesting/factual long ago. It's become a religion.

  9. All the delegates are just shuffling about, it has all the charisma of a Double Glazing Expo at the NEC......

  10. And hasn't Greta suffered enough? Her vegan diet gives her terrible constipation :(

  11. Unfortunately, Extinction Rebellion haven't turned up, as most of them are having hot flushes. Thankfully, the NHS are providing a mobile HRT unit, which should help.

Climate change is natural. It’s the sun that controls everything. The sun is a dying star which just sends its solar flares closer to us.
It’s as simple as that.who’s to say there wasn’t life on Venus, before it got to hot, before the sun was so big? Who’s to say there won’t be life on Mars, when earth is too hot, because the sun is bigger again…
    Just my theory…

Humans have been deforesting the planet for over 10,000 years, burning of fossil fuels on an industrial scale has been ongoing for 300 years and these bozos think that by becoming net CO2 zero in 20 years' time all our problems will be solved. You can't just switch climate change off. It's on a roll and may take centuries to reverse even if it can be reversed.

Take a lesson from Mr Darwin: species survive by adapting to their environment. If we don't adapt to a changing environment, we will go the same way as the dinosaurs. Rather than waste money trying to stop climate change, we should be using our resources to adapt to it eg by relocating coastal communities. Realistically, if we are to have any chance of survival, we will have to drastically reduce the human population. If we don't do it, nature will and nature has brutal methods.

I don’t think it’s about stopping climate change as much, more reducing its effects… this goal of reducing temperature rise by 1.5 degrees for example. It’s debatable whether that will a) work, and b) make any difference anyway. I’m not a scientist so I don’t really know. So do we just carry on as before? Shall I tell my daughter it’s just one of those things, the end is nigh, deal with it? What would Jesus do? ;)We have taken action to make our air quality better in the past so isn’t this just a natural progression. Strangely enough I thought “One Law For Us” Boris sounded almost stateman like yesterday. Fair enough it was a script written for him :D
