Control lever - I don't know what it controls!! Any advice please?

Cruise control's likely vacuum operated, so I'd give it a look over before daring to press the button.

 

Cruise control on a van would be great. I'm guessing the scooby owners have this option?

Desirable ? Not on the turps already? My mother had a living room carpet like that which was just bearable in the 70s
