Connecting fan to heat exchangers?

before i found mine i just used a longer section of corrugated heater pipe and bodged it on, it won't set fire it just looked Marmite.

 

He reckons it goes through the tin onto the exchanger!

 

Did you just put a rubber seal on the tin around it?

 

there should be one anyway even with the metal riser but they are a rip off - cut a section of fuel hose down it's length and use that..... if you use the corrugated stuff without the riser it's too tight to fit though as the hole is the same size as the corrugated....

 

It's certainly a challenge as are all the jobs, but that's part of the fun. I'd like to thank all of my fellow latebayers for their brainstorming tonite and I shall update thee with the latest on this as it happens. Peace and love to you all.
