Running fine btw apart from... a bit of popping which id put down to the carbs needing a clean (dells) and a slight tendency to over rev on tick over , ie tick over has gone up all on its own. Again i thought that a carb issue. Not really in the mood for heads off palarvas just now!
Bugger ... Just check everything and forget about it , there`s always the s****y option if it goes pop - which of course it won`t !!
Wouldn't worry about it . Squirt a bunch of oil in it. Then check it if it comes up. Then you know. I'd still run it for a few more years.
Perhaps you could consider a Japanese engine conversion At this point in time some consider this the end and it cannot possibly be repaired And it's your only option really
