I find any resonable hill warms mine, I stay in third gear more to get toasty on a 30mph stretch, where in summer I'd be in fourth chugging along O0
I need to do 110miles in mine with no heat in the cab at all as the pipes are missing for now. To say I had a shivering drive would be very true.
I shall be finding out in the morning, just been to pick daughter up from panto rehearsal in the Scooby and got a double puncture!! Will have to use bus in the morning and get the mobile tyre van out. *****!
Used it as a daily since I got the van (commute every other weekend due to free parking )last week had to get in via the slider as couldn't get the key in the front locks as they had frozen up , couldn't open either front windows as the ice had siezed them , windscreen wipers stuck , every time I breathed out the windscreen steamed up then froze , still got in though just wore a hat and thermal socks.
I used my van a few times during last years frost. Each time my girlfriend sat in the passenger seat inside a sleeping bag!! I'm still getting a slagging for getting into the van in my toe-numbing converse and putting on my "driving shoes" (warm work boots)
Maybe the seller still has these - http://www.volkszone.com/VZi/showthread.php?t=758284 THAT WAS A ADD FOR OG HX 'S :-
