Just doin odd jobs at mo while i wait for it to get warmer. One of these jobs i did tonight was to remove the clutch cable ready to put the new one in. Now when i looked at the clutch cable clip that attaches the cable to the pedal mechanism i noticed the shaft on the clip wobbles a bit, is that normal or should i replace. I know there only 3 quid but iam a tight wad plus its nice to keep the original bits on her if i can The other frustrating thing is the ' universal ' cable is too long by about 2.5cm so ordering the 68 to 71 cable as that is stangely 2.5 cm shorter than the universal one. Strange my bay is 75 though???
yeah thought so might pick up a spare when i can be bothered at some point, but its been on there 38 years so far so why not a bit longer lol
