I just can’t do it. Whether it’s the house or the car, I just can’t get rid of the streaks. What works for you?

i use the powder for all sorts, it's great for windows due to the oxalic and acetic acid (which is why vinegar works). I also use newspaper to dry off the windows after using barkeepers, nothing better for drying glass

And salt on yer chips, sit eating them while the window cleaner does if for you.

Autoglym glass cleaner

 

Nilglas is about as good as you can get in the window cleaning stakes. If you still got smears using this then you must be wiping it off with your dirtiest cloth ever or perhaps you might be trying to lick it off ??? You can get it from B&Q nowadays as well. This was the one we used donkies years ago in smallscale double glazing production at a little ally window company.
