after much searching on heritage and the likes, I'm still not 100% sure of the answer so can anyone confirm... The CJ has a stepped exhaust stud size? M9/M8? I have found lurking under my bus yesterday that a stud is missing/snapped I say missing first as when I popped a small screwdriver up in there (it was hot) I could get it canny far in and could feel the threads in the head. In the ideal world I would be able to refit a stud without having to try and not snap the other three to remove the heat exchanger
They do fall out. Try screwing an m8 bolt in. It should be a tight thread if yours are m8/m8. It might also grip into m9 but it'll be too easy/slack.
Cheers when the rain give up (about September lol) I'll have a poke about under there and see what's what
Depends what heads it currently has too.. mine were stepped on a CJ with square port exhaust.. bought a set of new studs due to one loose / mangled one before finding I couldn't get any others to budge!
Price for them if you wanna chuck them in the post or send by raven (it's as cold as winterfell up here in Durham at the mo) lol
Think I was fleeced £4.50 a pop How about £3.50 to undercut VWH and not loose too much! Unless you know where they're cheaper. . I'll do you post at cost.. think I can fit them in a standard padded jiffy for a letter.. how many do you want? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
