chart for lowering rear end

  1. I think i've seen a chart showing how much change in height is achieved by rotating the torsion bars, anyone know where it is and is it for bays rather than beetles?
    Cheers.

  5. That's the one, thanks. does that apply to bays as well? surely for that to be the case the spring plate needs to be the same length as a beetles?(assuming there is the same number of splines)

  6. I've used the chart a few times, and it's pretty much spot on :)

Not knowing there was a chart I CADed it up once and came to 5.5mm for one each way. Once you know that and the 54 60 for whole ones you don't need a chart.
Beetle is same wheel base as a bus so I'd guess they'd be similar.
