Carb tweak

Hi,

I tweaked my carbs to run leaner and now the engine is s bit poppy.

I've obviously made it too lean, but is the popping normal?

No,why did you want to make it leaner?

 

Just it smelt like it was too rich...

 

Put a fiver less in the tank next time

 

You nose isn't really a good gas analyser

 

Just tweaked back a bit... (Not as much as it was) and took it for a drive.

The first 3 mins it popped a bit but after 5 mins it purred like a kitten...

Could it be it hasn't been driven in a while???

Guessing won`t solve anything - sounds like it`s fine when the choke knocks off ...

 

Not far off... But I still love her

 

I'm running twin kardons. Without chokes. I'll run her again tomorrow and see how she goes
