  1. Anyone know?

  2. the carbs will have a balancing port on them... it's a bit like a bleed screw... undo and fit vac gauges, balance and tighten them back up again!!

A lot of carbs don't have these.. mostly dells if they do!!
I just use a snail type gauge... not that much of an issue just swapping it from one carb top to the next...

  3. The standard solex don't have a vac takeoff to attach the motorbike style carb balancer a.

Maybe he's drilled and tapped a port? It's hard to tell from the video as its too dark but they look like Solex carbs.

  4. TBH with std carbs, you don't need a vac balancer... (that's what the balance tube is for)

All you need to do is set the throttle stops the same on both carbs, synchronize the linkage, and set the idle circuit.
Base setting is 2.5 turns on the fuel screw, and 3.5 turns on the air screw... This will get you in the ball park, then you fine tune it with a gas analyzer

  5. To set up the carbs on my 1800 i used a gunson carb balancer and gunsen colour tune they run nicley now and get ok MPG's for a bus :)
