WANTED ..camshaft & 4 solid lifters for type4 2.0 cj wanted..

Hi,

Ok then, so I am desperately in need of a camshaft and 4 solid lifters in good condition for my type4 as mine is shot and I am stuck now with engine in pieces
Please will consider any offers..

It is Im affraid
In fact I even didnt want to split the case but from some reasons I had to.. so its quite unexpect nasty surprise for me.. anyway I want to put the engine back together asap and run it for a couple of years then back out put apart and do it properly but yes at the mo new one is out of my budget..

That wear is normal!!

The lifters are offset to the cam lobes, hence the wear pattern

 

Yeah stick it back in ,

 

Shouldnt I replace lifters then should I?

 

you want to keep the original lifters with that cam really... what are the old lifters like??

Well 4 of them look ok and another 4 abit of wear..but not really bad seen wors anyway.. Im going to post some pics in another thread thx
