if you clickon my you tube link and sift through my vids i did one of the noise and the hole in the bellhousing? underneath.... it may help?

 

You can inspect via a cut out in the bottom of the gear box bell housing, but I doubt you'll be able torque it up. Just crawled under for a look BTW.

 

Just checked the Bentley manual, bolts are M8 but no length on there? The M8 bolts for manual drive is M8 X 20 grade 8G to torque of 2.0 mkg or 14 ft.lb

 

For the time it'll take you mate, I reckon you're best to undo manifolds and torque em up tomoro night buddy. Wish in a way I hadnt brought this up now!

 

torque? lol thats one thing i ain't got i just lean on things til i fart.

 

Haynes has drive plate to torque converter bolts at 29 lb ft, but if they're loose Ricky, anything is an improvement until you get it right.

 

so i can get a spanner on from underneath? did someone look at my vid to see if the hole i found the noise coming out of is the one i can use?

 

Best ta get um all torqued up same .

Watched it fella! That's it fella, bolts need tightened!! After putting it together I can still see the parts!
