It's very good value. You get the rose joints on the link under the pedal, which is what causes the stickiness. You also get a proper bearing for the pivot, which removes loads of slack from the system, giving a much more direct action. Then you get a decent return spring at the pedal end as well. Top kit and a top bloke.
I only did a loose assembly of my replacement RHD linkage kit. Just from that I can see there's a lot of play between pedal and the transverse link. Like Owen said, the pivots in the rose joint should get rid of that play.

Yes, the play is in the pivot and on the Butty's linkage for LHD, this bolts up hard and the rotation is via a proper bearing. I was worried about the throttle travel and the length of the arm as I had extended mine get the Webers to open fully, but it's amazing how much extra cable movement you gain by eliminating the play. Replacing the 'S' linkage with joints does help with play, but it's more about getting a smooth throttle action as the simple linkage tends to twist and stick. That's why I bought the linkage in the first place, the improved pivot bearing was a bonus really.
Just seen this, apologies for the late reply, not gonna be much help but on having my gearbox conversion the parts have disappeared, funnily enough. I've reset my pedal and now using the original setup. Long story but there were other things affecting my setup, have checked everything and now appears to be ok.
This might be the answer to get extra cable travel for full throttle on my dell 40's. Does it come with a standard pedal or can I buy a pedal separately?
