Brexit outcomes so far.

    Brexit was cited in the official letter from my enployer indicating consultation leading to likely redundancy.

  11. Petrol was under a £1 per litre before brexit, £1,20 now :(

  13. That was due to oil prices, this is due to exchange rate, completely different :thumbsup:
     
  14. Latest inflation figures today up to 1.6% Forecast to rise above the BoE 2% target. Then I guess the interest rates start their climb upwards. I hope we all have a good income reserve to cover the increasing costs of living....

  17. I'm sat in a cafe thing at Clifton lido in Bristol - they want best part of £30 for a bottle of vinho verde - if that doesn't tell you something about the current state of affairs.....

  19. Some of us remember inflation in the 80s at rates significantly above 2%. Perhaps people will go back to the good old days of 'living within their means' rather than other peoples money, that'll be no bad thing.
