Brakes

    my brakes are very hard and don't stop quick if needed is this normal with drums all round

    You have discs at the front. ;)

    Early bays have drum brakes, crossovers and lates have discs at the front. Some have servo assist.
    I did note your pedal was hard, but moving the bus around found the brakes ok and I wasn't looking for more trouble and you hadn't mentioned it!
    Obviously didn't have to try them in anger moving if 30 feet.

    i dont realy know whats bad as its so old , so best i strip down and look

    i feel that the back is pulling me back slightly when it shoud roll

    I wondered, then found I could push it around the workshop easy enough so thought no more about it.
     

  9. hand brake maybe sticking ,easy way to find out ,go for a drive then touch the back wheels..

    it does stick sometimes when left for a while
     
  11. Check and make sure your front discs don't look like this...

    The pads had worn right down and the discs had glazed from the heat... you can see how reflective they are!! o_O

    i do have recent receipts and been done before i bought it those parts seem well maintained
    i will check the pads when i get a mo
