WANTED Body cut for bodged fuel sender repair please!

Oh wow that's sounds just what I'm after...I did look for repair panels but didn't realise they were available, any chance of a link please...

 

I used self tapping screws for mine and made a rubber gasket to seal, better than using silicon sealant. I took my cover off a few times when I renewed the breather pipes and just screwed it back on, easy.

 

Couldnt you make one from fiberglass using a good section as a template . Put some tin foil down and pour it on it then let set . Pull up and .trim the edges . I did that once , for another project . Drill and screw it on.

I was got lost reading this, does anyone still need a cut?

Post the measurements and I will check at the weekend I should be able to sort one maybe two people out.

Body cut sent today its L shaped so you should get a good fix. Postage was only £2.80 so don't worry about paying it just post pics of the work.
