Ive just saved myself over 100 quid from footman james to JK insurance, managed to haggle a bit being the end of the month but 212 quid rather than my 31 renewal quote aint bad.
Just checked the small print of my "agreed value" insurance with Peter James. "Endorsement number 10 - Agreed value If your vehicle is lost or totally destroyed, we will pay up to the amount shown against this endorsement number on the schedule"
i'm interested in peter james insurance ..... i ran a quote through their site and it came to £130 for my Camper AND mini van. i currently have them insured with carole nash for about that each, which i thought was good.
The thing to remember is that insurance companies are like estate agents... I.e not to be trusted. Make sure you have all available paperwork and photos to justify your agreed value and you shouldn't have a problem (unless of course you've put a stupid value on your bus in the first place).
