Baywindow dashboard bulbs led??

    If you sand the lens with a bit of sandpaper it defuses the light a bit

    I put LED strip behind mine because the original lamp holders were knackered....its bright enough and uniform....I like it a lot and its maintenance free..


    And yes....I consider it a bodge...chucked in and held in place with a hot melt glue gun with runs and drips everywhere.....couldn't care less....it works .....and I'm happy and thats that :)

    I broke it years ago . It still works... just points to a number rather than sits on it.

  7. I fitted a few dash LEDs a while ago and they have all blown. 12v LEDs don't like running at 13.8v+ which is what they get with the engine running - or I just got rubbish cheap ones.

    I have had to run 12v voltage regulators for the main ceiling lights.

    Possibly but I'm not sure it can be classed as a bodge as I've not made or repair (something) badly or clumsily
