Just got home from doing over time night shifts Friday and Sat night. Couple of hours kip then I'm sparking up the barby and having a few cold ones.
Visiting a flower market, and then hopping a bus going anywhere outside of the Amsterdam city limits. After 2 days of trying to avoid spaced out boys in onesies on a Stag weekend / drunk girls in veils and unsuitable shoes on Hen party weekends, I've pedalo'd the canals, seen Anne Frank's house, wandered through the red light district, and learned all about the history of Heineken. We've got tickets for the Body Worlds exhibition tonight, but apart from that I think I'm done with Amsterdam now.
Ah did that as an art student many years ago. I feel the need for flowers, clogs and windmills today!
Saturdays efforts... im sure this will be repairable... on sunday .. I left it for the dust to settle.. stopped of here for a brew, and strangely met a guy, who i had not seen for 10 years.. and he told me his brother was here visiting from florida,a mate i was friends with since we were 6 0r 7 ,, who ive not seen for 15 yrs.. then arranged to meet my old mate , before he flew back to florida today... a cool afternoon, then went on to the next cafe up the a5 mrs b and bike..
