would've posted it in my first post, but it took a bit of a hunt to find a sheet big enough to do the auto pan... it's around 270mm x 270mm... you can cut the diff sump from the inner waste from the auto sump!!
lol it's not cheapskate as such as not needing it for anything else really - you'll use yours on jobs i only have 1 van.
if you've got the early box the sump pan gasket is £3.90, late is £19.50 vwh doesn't list a gasket for the diff pan so £16.99 ain't all that bad!!
gsf don't list the dif pan either - they do list the autobox one but out of stock - as is the same at cool air.
Right, so which ones this? I'm just going to get the cork fella, atleast it's a decent fix if Paul recommends it? Can be doing with looking around the houses for this sort of part, along as it works then that's good enough for me
that gasket i list was for an 010 box anyway and it's out of stock as it is at cool air, no idea if anyone sells the transmission one so cork looks the way forward.
