WANTED AUTO Accelerator pedal

Discussion in 'Late Bay Parts Classifieds' started by Razzyh, Nov 17, 2013.

  1. Ive got a spare one but as they are so rare i really want to keep it for mine just in case my one breaks one day. However ive had a look at it and I would say it should be easy to repair yours by welding on a new hinge that you can buy from just kampers etc

Thanks that's what I will probably have to do.

Would you do me a favour and upload pics of your spare.

    Thanks

He's not selling :( keeping it as a spare.

Think I'm going to get a hinge and then get it welded on.

    Not much else can do.

  9. I would def weld it on. Theres a lots of pressure on the hinge. Chemical metal is great, but not as a long term thing. Its not going to hard to fix yours. I had to make one good pedal out of three incorrect ones for my last bay !!

I thought so... Hoping it wasnt.... Didn't really fancy a brazzy part though, every time I buy a brazzy part it goes back!!

Anyone know where else to get one from?

  15. yeh i had one with undercut on middle spring goes on their n on hinge pin you need circlip to stop coming off end that goes in outside undercut grooves too, bet thats as clear as mud ay ray ?

Arrived in post today from mega-bug, took it to get it powder coated at mid day and ready by 3pm. Just need the other bits (hinge etc.) before I can fit it back in the van :)

It's funny as at one point couldn't get one and now today two turned up in the post :)

    Brilliant well happy
