need a new pedal as mine snapped today.

    It's for a 1974 auto.

    Anyone got one?

Where has it snapped, the hinge has gone on mine and has been replaced by welding in a normal door one!!

Nope :( I am confused as to what that wiring does ? Can't find a reference in Bentley's wiring diagrams

  15. It operates the kickdown solenoid see Bentley Section7 page 11 subsection 5.2

Just looked through the wiring diagrams again and can't find it either. As its an important item for correct use of the box I'm a little surprised since the valve body diagram clearly shows the solenoid itself.

So maybe the link you sent isn't the right one? Will see if JK Can send me pictures of under the pedal.

Called FBI and mega bug but they don't have anything in.

  17. Good luck with finding another one complete. I rather think you may have to resort to fabricating a new hinge as the stock pedal doesn't have provision for mounting the microswitch. :(

  18. @Razzyh, you'll have drill out the spots and remount it unfortunately mate. It's the kickdown switch for your box :)

  19. That looks like it's been fixed before by brazing it on? You could always repeat what's been done fella? Save you buying a new pedal??
