Are campers safe in lightning?

  2. Anyway in answer to that poor mans question according to the lightning experts its ok as long as you sit with your hands on .....YOUR ....LAP and dont touch anything.

    Can't belive i missed the sillyness - damn you Midsomer Murders (shakes fist at Barnaby) anyway, does this mean Westys and vikings etc are safer than tintops? if so hahahahaha not only do we now have an excuse to look ugly, but should the lightning bring with it a lot of rain we can simply invert our roofs and paddle away! hooorah!
     
  5. I think it means tin tops are safer. aeroplanes will never be made of plastic because they would catch fire if struck by lightning
