We have had mixed experiences tbh - at the larger organised ccc sites we found them expensive and regimented , not for us , but the smaller less known sites are brill , they usually only have limited facility's but are sometimes in such a brill place you just have to stop . "People are people wherever you go" - i dislike condescending pretentious types with a passion and see it as a mission in life to avoid them , they are usually found in a large organised field with little black white and red sign pointing to it that says "the caravan and camping club " - if it looks like one of their sites THEY would avoid we use it (at a stretch ) but even then they come out of the woodwork somehow , descend on your cute little camper - suss you out and bugger off , our favourite local bolthole in Tenbury Wells is ccc - but great ! That said "SOME" vw owners leave a bit to be desired too if i am totally honest ! As i say " people are people wherever you go !"
Hi all, Think you guys have decided for me , will just take a look on "Uk campsites website" and plan from that, I guess we just got lucky at the Longleat site...... But thinking about it now it was only the staff and another van owner that really entered into conversation;-)
