Yes I have. Good news, I'll explain all when I get home tonight as I need to sit down and explain it all in one place. Sorry I haven't done this already, life is getting in the way at the moment.

@AndyC I'm afraid they need run numbers in advance, so as you don't have one, I cannot include you in the line-up. Sorry. @surfgir1 @Matchy @vwbusman if any of you want the last space, please let me know. If you do, I need a name, a run number and the reg number of your bus. I am going to email the organisers with run numbers and ask for 15 spaces. @VWOlive how is Olive? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you will still make it.

If you are not doing the run but are going straight to Madeira Drive - read here:

We need to be in place before 9am when they open the gates to all vehicles. This is to ensure we have our spaces pegged out for those arriving later, and it means we can park up before the main melee of vehicles descending on Madeira Drive starts.

You have 2 options:

Option 1:
We will be meeting at an Esso petrol station in Brighton, on the corner of Dyke Road and The Upper Drive, here:

It has a Tesco Express and a car park, so it seemed like a good place to meet. Please be there by 8am. Please let me know if you are intending to meet there, so I know who to expect.

Option 2:
If you can't/don't want to meet up at the Esso, please make sure you are at Madeira Drive at around 8.30am. Tell the marshals you are part of The Late Bay display, and give them your run number. They will let you in.

The good news is that they are happy for us to save spaces for those on the run, as this is what the day is about - so we will be getting out the police incident tape/bunting/traffic cones to reserve spaces for those who have said they are doing the run. So if you are on the list and doing the run, when you arrive explain to the marshals that you are part of The Late Bay display, and give them your run number. When you get to the line-up, we will have spaces saved for you.

FINALLY, everyone please read:

Can you all please send me your mobile numbers (in a private message, obviously) - it is useful to have them on the day, I will PM you all my mobile number so you can ring me if you have any issues getting into Madeira Drive on the morning. I will also PM you all these instructions too.

 

If the 15th place in line up is still available I will be pleased to take it. Just waiting for my pack and I can let you know run number etc.
