Any aquairum owners on here?

Did run 1 clownfish, 1 royal gramma, a yellow goby and a cleaner shrimp but due to impending change of status the whole lot were farmed out FOC. At some point I may revisit but a lot of water needs to pass under the bridge first.

 

This is my & mrs Low's 200L tank. Mainly swordtails, mollies (bloody things), cories and bristle nosed plecs plus a couple of stripey big things that hide that I can't remember the name of. Most have been bred in the tank.

I've got a Malawi Cichlids tank, been running for quite a few yrs now I lost some fish, gained more and they have grown a lot. Pics were taken when it was first set up has settles down nicely.





The fish are great very colourful and have all their different characters.
It's out in the summer house at the moment, just had a new carpet fitted in the lounge so is a another job I have to do is move it back in.
Fancy going back to marine fish, had several tanks of them in the past including a 400 ltr one in the bedroom.

 

I coudn't do with the upkeep of a marine tank and the £££ lost if something went wrong.

 

There are lots of different African cichlids you can keep together. some get on well others don't. I got what I found out to be one of the most aggressive ones and it is probably the most placid one in the tank.

I came over from marines was gettin too expensive and wanted simplicity.

Tropical Aquarium

Unfortunately all the plants and a lot of the fish died slowly over a month. All tests were ok, turns out somehow the thermostat had been turned up to a temperature not ideal for the species . I've got a thermostatic alarm now that will go off if it drops below or goes above set temperatures.

Starting to restock now.

 

I have a synodontis but hardly ever see him/her.

 

They are quite nocturnal mine only comes out for food during the day.

I did have 4 of the chaps as they are supposed to be social fish, lived together for ages, came home one day and they had a massive scrap I've only got one now.

 

WTF?

First we get the prototype bay lot on now its the fish fanciers club ;D

 

But has anyone got a fish tank in their bay? That would look cool!
