  1. WOW .... some decent welding going on there . your a braver man than me

  2. A quick update of work done over the last couple of weekends.
It's been way too hot to be working on the camper really!!

So, after I trimmed off the inner wheel tub, the bulkhead was pretty rough:

So I chopped out a section and welded it in. I managed to fold the indentation too.
I also tided up the previous repairs:

This section of chassis way beyond repair so made up a new section:

It turned out pretty well, the rest of the chassis is fine.

Inner valance welded on and repairs to the A Pillar started:

Not the best photo but this is the A Pillar. The bottom 8" were rotten so I chopped it off and made up some sections from 2mm plate:

Then plug welded on the new wheel tub and the new genuine inner and outer arches.
Here you can also see a new 2mm plate has been welded to the top of the Y section of chassis as per original. This has been painted with epoxy mastic 121 ready for the floor to be welded in:

Really pleased with the fit and also how the A pillar repair turned out.
The step had to be trimmed by about 10mm as per zeds fitting guide :0) :

So that's about it for now....

    Cheers :)
