How come they make you pay before you fill up at the gas station in the states then if it's so cheap?

 

Maybe some if the cost is offset by the sheer size if the states...

Appreciate, not everywhere is far away (Dougal), but interstate travel is huge!

We are, however, getting tucked up here, but rest assured any form of monopoly investigation will be sorted by a backhander or some form of exec seat on the board old pal...

 

People in the Uk now regularly run out of petrol on the way to work because some low life scum has crawled under the car & put a hole in the plastic fuel tank to steel the fuel.

rode my bike [1200 bandit ]to silverstone popped the disc lock on ...

watched the racing then found the bunch of keys had no disc lock key on ... doh..

had to get neighbour to drive over with the keys... 8)

Both my cab doors lock themselves when you shut them so it's only a matter of time...

 

I left the cap and key on the pump at Clacketts on the M25. Didnt remember till i'd just entered the M25. Had to turn off at J4 turn round back to j6 and then back again to clacketts.

We usually leave fuel key in the ashtray.

Fuel in the states has to be cheap as they run 7 litre benchseats. They still pay as much as we do when you take fuel economy into account. My old man's Corvette did 5mpg!! Yes 5mpg. FIVE! (550bhp twin turbo nutjob) Did even less than that as I used to steal it from him and go for a spin. Literally. Ive spun that car 360 so many times just by blipping the throttle.
