  1. Some of you may remember that 2 days after getting Arthur, we had to be towed home from the petrol station after trying to open the petrol cap with the (only) igntion key and snapping said key in half.

Well last night we camped in Cheshire as we had an early start for an off-roading morning at the Landrover centre at Peckforton Castle (bloody brilliant fun!) - then pootled into Chester for lunch etc. Started off the 60 or so miles home and stopped for petrol as we're on red...then realised that the set of keys I'd picked up didn't have the petrol cap key on it...

  10. We have a full set of camper keys, and then we have a set of main keys which has the house, landy, polo and camper doors & ignition key on it (and actually in addition have a third set of keys which has house, landy and polo and nowt camper related). Will be adding a copy of the petrol cap key to the main keys - I took the main key ring because the camper keys don't have the house key on. And if anyone has read this and even vaguely understands what I'm on about then k+ to you!

  18. Petrol (gas) in the states was as cheap as peanuts the last time filled up a 3.5L 4x4 jobby in Florida. We pay for it in bank loans in UK. If you don't want it nicked bolt it down works best here!
