Beautiful little village with a duck pond in the middle...used to go through every weekend on the way to Flamborough...think I'd have been happier staying in Walkington.

  8. I Have no idea . I’m not interested in these things. She’s also a doctor. So ..who knows who she’s knows..... my dads last name is Very Italian. And moms is Goméz.. so I’m sure that the results were based on that . It was just a few weeks ago, she got the results .

If you're a Viking, you're probably from Yorkshire, maybe even Barnsley!

  14. “York-ishshire” is actually Old Norse for “The Land of Those With Short Arms and Deep Pockets”

That's why he can't pass a shop doorway without relieving himself.

  18. Oi. The Normans were originally Vikings, not effete accordian-playing soap-dodgers.

    My wife’s family surname Jago.
The Jagos came from Spain in the late 1400’s to Cornwall. There are still the headstones of them in an old old church down by Falmouth. They later went on to Bristol and became Governors and councillors of the city.
Some of the Jagos became drs and surgeons, apparently, and discovered life saving procedures for otherwise incurable ailments. My brother in law,has his ‘familys bible’, which the family tree is written in from day one. It’s been updated to the present day. It’s quite a thing to see, spanning hundreds of years. The last entry in it was the birth of my brothers grandson. (A distant relative to the Jago’s, but through marriage, still relative).
