My mother had hers done in 1977. It was very popular to get it done then. I’m a desendant t of the Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1411, apparently, and my mothers great great great grandfather founded the village of Uphill, near Weston super mud. My wife’s family is even more interesting.
Velvet two tone ones? I know for a fact @Terrordales wears them. Don’t believe him when he says he wears a kilt, he’s a loons man. Probably bought them at Cecil Gee. At the weekend he wears doublet and hose.
If you take all the letters of Haynes add a few and take some away you get made in England, spooky or what
I ve got viking little fingers from my mums side, it's a thing, honest, and the family name goes back to a bunch of frogs coming over on a booze cruise in1066. It just so happened that when on a caving holiday near Montpellier we were close to the village we originally from. Just like the one I'm from, but in the south of France.
I did it and surprisingly I am 90% yorkshireman with bits of Scandinavian and Iberian in there That will be from Ee Ba Gum ar kid the Famous Barnsley seafaring explorer who discovered Sweden and Spain but one was too hot the other too cold so he didn't rename or claim just went home and huddled around his coal fire The first part is true the other part was passed down from my Grandfather
Not done the DNA thing but mum traced the family tree back to the 1600's . Apparently we herald from East Yorkshire, a small hamlet called Walkington which is her maiden name ... The local registers are full of Walkingtons whose occupations are listed as 'peasant' - I quite like that .... Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
My sister recently did it.. just a few months ago... 65% Italian 25% Spanish 5% French 3% Portuguese 2% mystery
2% mystery, I'm liking that . Alien abduction in the dark and distant past perhaps?? Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk
