Quick update, the geezer that hit me up the bottle has accepted liability and I have received an email saying so , Asian Sid is looking after my claim he's a top man although a bit dodgy he makes Arthur Daley look like a saint, he's got me a Mondeo replacement taxi and he's got an appointment for me to see a doctor he knows to look at all my injuries I sustained in the accident, I'm slowly improving my jaw and headaches are much better, but my back and hip are still sore, I'm able to work but I have to keep stopping for a rest, ill sign off for now as writing this is causing me a bit of pain in my hand
    Bye for now
    A very brave

Hurrah! That was a quick solution. I got hit years ago (pre massive payout days) and it took a year for solicitor to sort in case I had ongoing injuries. I gave up in the end and settled as I needed cash for a new car.

reckon I should! I got price of car and £1500 for injuries, hairline fracture T top of my spine. I was off work for a month but got sick pay so not bothered and saw work physio for free. HurraH for Lansing Bagnalls and the days of companies with subsidised canteens, sports field, S&S clubs, company health workers and sick pay etc

tbh I always pay extra for legal cover and think it’s still worth it

  12. After my big smash I managed to get exactly feck all for loss of earnings. They claimed that as I was self employed that I could simply go and do all the services once I was back on the road. When I said well what about all the breakdowns I turned away, as it was February, a busy month. They said well as you didn’t attend them you don’t know what they were and therefore you can’t tell us what income you lost. You may not even have ended up going to them in the end. So I got paid out for my van and smashed up equipment. I got some money for the stitches and the stress of being carted off in the big white taxi to hospital and a bit of money for the genuine back injury and that was it. I had to whistle for the loss of earnings. ******ers.

Blimey, i turn my back for a few mins and you're injured again - are you sure there's not some sort of contract out on you?

Hope you feel better soon xx

  15. Hope you are looking after yourself. Your cab can be fixed and good you have a replacement. Your health and possible injuries are the main concern and its good you have a medical checkup booked.

Last year I was driving the Polo when two boy racers hit me up the backside. At the time I didn't feel too bad, just shaken. I went to my GP soon after with various aches, pains, migraine like headaches and hearing issues.

I had physio sessions for my neck pain due to a whiplash injury. Now some 18 months later, I still have neck and shoulder pains due to the accident.

As the other party's insurers have accepted liability in your case, you could make a personal injury claim. I would speak with Asian Sid about it and maybe go for a claim.

  18. I'm going to renew all my insurance policies before Bazza's claim gets settled - I reckon it could be a record payout.

  19. I bet he's claiming for Mooblash injuries sustained in the crash - his moobs swung up and hit him in the chops
